I had hoped to stick with bands from my Home Town Philadelphia ~ Nothing works out as planned, now does it! So instead I turn to my sister City Baltimore and a Band born in the early 90’s MEATJACK & 2003 Release “DAY OF FIRE”. Founded by brothers Brian(guitar) and Jason Daniloski(bass) I believe strongly that when siblings fuse together to make music its extra special, seems to create bonding electricity that some bands just dont have.

Had to get the Philly in there somewhere!!! I myself have seen these boys multiple times over the years, the only word for their live show was CRUSHING. It was very common for them to travel with a projectionist – see below youtube clip of the type of images you may have seen while they slaughtered you with their music.

I believe that it was 10years plus that this band played live shows, put out 7’s and 2 full length albums then brothers moved on to other bands Jason is now playing with Wooly Mommath and Brian does his solo project called darsombra
Just an FYI every single time I hear the cut below “Sleep” I still and this very morning throw my fist in the air like Im seeing em’ live.
