The Basis of My Silly Little Blog is the Repeat Listen-Meaning I have a tendency to fall “head over heels in love” with one particular record or artist. I listen to it over & over to the point someone has to give me a gentle nudge down another avenue or I discover a “new love” then the cycle repeats itself again – Just so ya know this record will always remain a repeat listen even as I move on.

The Record I give you today is an album I play 1st thing in the AM while making coffee or while I cook a Breakfast for champions. I spin it when I’m Happy & Return to it when I’m Sad. I’m suprised I haven’t worn it out over the last 6months I’ve played it so many times.

Honestly, do I need to educate my peer group on Ms Nina Simone? I think not! What more to is there to say really except she’s a fantastic singer/pianist/songwriter who totally bled through her music.
F.Y.I. Its just about Friday as I type, its been fridged cold here in Philly and I pretty much hate it.
