Repeat Listen 2# Captain Beyond S/T
I will never put just one track off this record on a mix its not possible, gotta play side 1 in full without pickin up the needle……. I still find myself freakin-out, dancing alone to this record over & over again.
THE FACTS:
American rock band formed in Los Angeles, California in 1972.
Their S/T was also released in 1972, included members of Iron Butterfly, Deep Purple, Johnny Winter, and Rick Derringer. I myself am also pretty fond of the second release from 73′ “Sufficiently Breathless”
U.S. release included Fancy 3-D artwork (using lenticular printing). Which by the grace of God my dear girlfriend Noelle bought me as a gift otherwise I wouldnt own it.
I cringe as I do this but your only gettin 4 cuts off the album.

Ya know a fancy secret that I haven’t spoke of yet… about 5 years ago Larry and I were walking threw collingswood fm and I seen him pull this record out of a torn, tattered cardboard box and I turned to look at him, his eyes just peeled as though he’d had seen a mac truck headed right for him… and it was CB…. hehehe and the funny thing I had put 4 songs on my Ipod and Mr.love was like… “nice… remember when I found that record”…. I love repeat listening… I suppose the repeat listening aspires my repeat talking….

The problem with this CAPTAIN BEYOND debut is that once you start, you can’t stop… “Sufficiently Breathless” is great too, soon to be posted on SVC.
