Another Repeat Listen: Gandalf S/T

There’s is bit of story about finding and fallin in love with this record.

My form of Psych/Rock&Roll record purchasing when I dont know or unsure of what something is, I learned from the Old Man.
Follow Steps Below:
1# Is the Cover Cool
2# is it the Right Year-stick with pre-75′(there was alot of bad bad bad music that came out in mid 70s to late 70s due to Rock&Roll Cross-over to disco)
3#Check out the song titles/instruments played/members

I passed over this album @ the record store atleast 20times before I bought it 2 or more years ago.
I would picked it up, eyeball it, me & the old man would discuss the coolness of the cover. Seemed like it would be something we would “DIG”. He was unsure, I was unsure-it was a reissue on Sundazed, a bit pricey for an “I’m not Sure Purchase”.
I would put it back in the bin then next visit we would repeat the same scenario.

On one of our many record binge days – I FINALLY just bought it. Brought it home, pulled the vinyl outta the sleeve, its was fancy clear indigo blue, listened to it – That was it! Still haven’t stopped listening to it a 2years later. This album has touched my life…………

The Facts:
The Bands Orginal Name was the Rahgoos.
They Broke Up in 68′ Before the S/T Album was even released.
Peter Sando – singer/songwriter who is still playing music to this day.

Please Enjoy!!
