Music Based in Texas has always held a fascination for me, I think that stemmed from my love for the Butthole Surfers in the 90’s. I’ve always wondered what’s in the water down there in Texas – Where it seems they Breed mentally unstable artists like Gibby Hanes, Roky Erickson, Daniel Johnston…………..

So as I’m trying to learn how to move about on this here Blog Site-I give you a few my choice Favorite Texas Based Cuts

Under-appreciated during their existence in the 60’s. I feel in love with Sir Douglas Quintet cause their hits “She’s a Mover” & “When the Rain Came”- As far as I know there is no story of insanity or drug induced madness that goes along with this band. The Important Music Fact that goes with this band is Doug Sham.
